Help Support
Cedar Falls Firefighter Shane Farmer
represent the Cedar Valley at the
Firefighter Combat Challenge World Championships

Shane finished 9th in the World in 2008 and carried that momentum into the 2009 season. He finished in the Top 10 at five regional events this year including a 1st place finish in Tucson, AZ, a 3rd place finish in St. Louis, MO, and most recently placing 7th at the US Nationals in Dallas, TX. All of the strong finishes at the regional events placed Shane 4th this year in Grand National Points, up from 8th in 2008. Along with his individual accomplishments he also had multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes in the Male Tandem and Co-Ed Tandem divisions, including a 3rd place finish in the Co-Ed Tandem at the US Nationals. Shane is asking for your support to help vault him to the World Championships in Las Vegas, NV this November 16th-20th.

Please join Shane for an Open House at The Landmark 118 Main Street, Cedar Falls, IA on November 14th from 12:00 until 2:00. Make an afternoon out of it and stick around for the Iowa vs. Ohio State game after the fundraiser.
